I find I don't agree with the idea that the Barbarians are the Paladins of Nature as Barbarians don't get proper divine spell casting.Plus there is more to the idea of Rangers as Paladin's of Nature, like the similarity of the relationship between Clerics and Paladins with Druids and Rangers.
Although I admit that there is a more basic Shaman like Quality to both the Totem and Ancestral Guardian Barbarians. The line is blurrier then in 3e.
